At the time of evacuation of the president via air, at the scene of the events, the transfer of ten secretaries of the Interior was achieved; however, the rest of the work team had to stay, for now they are unharmed. According to the first reports, the attack could have been more serious.

“I thank the Army for their reaction. I have homeland pain, because they end the hope of a people who for many years have been waiting for a leader to invest in the regions, because they put an end to the illusion of a ruler who has been doing things well and that has worked hand in hand with the community. It makes me sad that two policemen have been murdered.”, indicated the president.

Likewise, the governor expressed his solidarity with the relatives of the patrolmen killed after the attack, identified as William Adolfo Echeverría Velazco and Miguel Ángel Bernal Espitia.

“The heroes who die because of their work and who are mourned today by their relatives, Today I want to tell your relatives that I am accompanying you. We were on an institutional visit, and with this act they tarnished the tranquility with that encouragement to work for our peasants”, Gasca assured.
