AN and TSJ will consolidate the Justice System Law in 2023

TSJ supports judging Rafael Ramírez's wife in Venezuela

The president of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), Gladys Gutiérrez Alvarado, received this Tuesday a commission of deputies of the National Assembly (AN), on the occasion of the start of sessions for the 2023-2024 period.

The commission was headed by parliamentarian Pedro Carreño, accompanied by deputies Rosa León, Julio García, José Vielma Mora, Iris Valera, Yolmar Gudiño, Carmen Zerpa, Hanthony Coello, Oscar Ronderos, José Correa and Miguel Salazar.

During the meeting, Carreño pointed out that the AN will work, in the first quarter of 2023, on the consolidation of the Justice System Law.

They will also address other legislative projects this year, aimed at strengthening the ethical condition of judges in the nation.

For her part, the TSJ magistrate indicated that the Judiciary will work to raise proposals to reform some of the nation’s laws, in order to deploy the power contained in the Bolivarian Constitution.

He also pointed out that the agency plans to promote and improve technological modernization, attention to workers, international legal integration and expand to other areas, beyond criminal matters.
