The daily losses in public investment not carried out due to strikes and demonstrations in the country amount to S/64.4 million, according to a report by the Lima Chamber of Commerce (CCL).
According to the union, the national government stops investing S/18.7 million, while the regional ones do not disburse S/12.6 million per day and the locals S/33 million.
On the other hand, the CCL specified that what is lost daily in sales amounts to S/672 million, with the Commerce and Services sectors being the most affected with amounts that amount to S/170 million and S/149 million respectively.

Other affected items are mining and hydrocarbons, manufacturing, construction, agriculture, tourism and hotels, public administration and fishing.
On the other hand, the union specified that six regions in conflict contribute 14.6% of the national Gross Domestic Product (GDP), among which are Amazonas, Apurímac, Arequipa, Cusco, Madre de Dios and Puno.
