A man and a woman were arrested. accused of the crime of María Laura Cejas, the woman who was found beaten, strangled and sexually abused in a vacant lot in the Buenos Aires town of General Rodríguez, reported judicial sources.
Both suspects were urgently apprehended in a house in the town of San Miguel, where a champagne-colored Volkswagen Gol vehicle was also kidnapped, with which they took the victim to the place where the body was left wrapped in padding.
The autopsy on the victim’s body determined that she was beaten, strangled and sexually abused by two or more people, judicial sources reported on Tuesday.
The death of María Laura Cejas (37) “occurred mediately and with an agonizing period”according to the autopsy carried out in the morgue of the aforementioned town in the west of the Buenos Aires suburbs.
Judicial sources confirmed to Télam that the victim was sexually abused and had signs of having been attacked by two or more people.
The cause of the death was due to “mechanical asphyxia due to extrinsic cervical compression”and the victim presented “multiple blunt injurieswith predominance in upper limbs, lower abdomen and head.
Find in a vacant lot
The body of Cejas was found on Sunday around 4:00 p.m. in a vacant lot next to a car junkyard located on Amancay street between El Zorzal and El Sauce, in the Pico Rojo neighborhood, of the aforementioned town of General Rodríguez.
According to what the sources told Télam, the corpse was wrapped in padding, tied with a rope and was wearing a bikini.
Meanwhile, the woman was recognized by her sister for the tattoos and a piercing she wore on the right side of her nose.
“The sister said that she went out with a skinny guy and that they were going to a party in a country house in Moreno,” added the investigation.
The prosecutor Alejandra Rodríguez, in charge of the Functional Instruction Unit (UFI) 7 of General Rodríguez, ordered the survey of the security cameras in the area to see if it was one or more people who left the body of Cejas.
