The President of the Republic, Dina Boluarte, responded once again to those who accuse her of being a traitor. In addition, she referred to the protests against her in cities like Juliaca and called on the leftist leaders who make these calls.
“If you want to win the next elections, I mean the gentlemen on the left, don’t lie, don’t cheat and earn the trust of the people so that they can be elected, but don’t lie and don’t cheat,” he said at the beginning of the National Agreement meeting. , which began at 4:30 p.m. this Monday.

What did Dina Boluarte say?
The president pointed out that the radical left has changed its discourse and asked the population not to be fooled.
“I know that now that space of that radical left has already changed its message. It no longer says, as at the beginning, that Dina Boluarte carried out a coup d’état and that Pedro Castillo will be reinstated in the Presidency, and “we are going to burn airports and public ministries and block highways.” That message is no longer. Now they are saying that I want to stay until 2026 to continue generating that political platform, ”he said.
He added that “it is not in my hands to resolve what they are proposing, the only thing that was in my hands was the advancement of elections and we already proposed it, it is only for Congress to ratify it.”
“Then they ask for a Constituent Assembly, but that does not pass through the hands of the Executive or Dina Boluarte. If it is with this pretext that they are taking you, brothers from those regions, they are deceiving you, they are lying to you, ”she reiterated.
He also stressed that this sector is asking for the release of Pedro Castillo, but “the issue is under judicial review and it is not in my hands either,” he said.
The president referred to the closure of Parliament. “They are asking me to close Congress, but the one who wanted to close Congress is now in prison. They know that this cannot be done, that is why they are deceiving you. Do not be fooled ”, she asked those who are abiding by the protest measures in some southern regions.

At another time, Dina Boluarte referred to the attempt to seize airports in several cities.

Today we made a minute of silence for the lives that were lost in these violent actions that we, from the Government, are not generating violence and the proof of this is that in Puno there are wounded policemen”, he added.
Boluarte also confirmed the first deceased due to the confrontation between protesters and police.
“I have just been told that a civilian has died. In protest of what? It is not being understood. They already explained the four points, it is not in my hands.
“What they are asking for is a pretext to continue generating chaos in the cities. I call them to reflect,” he said.
