The National deputy Rodolfo Tailhade (Front of All) denied this Monday any connection with an alleged hacking of the cell phone of the Buenos Aires Minister of Security and Justice, Marcelo D’Alessandro and demanded before the courts that the official on leave be investigated for about twenty possible criminal acts that arise from the dialogues on Telegram that have come to light in recent days.
Tailhade attended the Buenos Aires federal court building, at Avenida Comodoro Py 2002, where he formalized a presentation with which he responded to the judicial complaint filed against him by D’Alessandro, who accuses him of being responsible for the leaked messages. through a hack that was carried out on the minister’s cell phone.
The alleged hacking
“I had no involvement and I don’t have the foggiest idea how those chats were obtained”affirmed Tailhade in the presentation before federal court number 3 of Daniel Rafecas, who was subrogated last week by magistrate María Eugenia Capuchetti and will now be subrogated by his colleague Sebastián Ramos.
The prosecutor who must intervene in this complaint is Eduardo Taiano, but due to the judicial recess, who had to subrogate him was Carlos Rívolo, who in turn excused himself from intervening because he is mentioned in the leak as a supposed frequent contact of D’Alessandro; In this context, the representative of the Public Prosecutor’s Office that promoted the investigation was Carlos Stornelli.
“I had no participation in these events, nor do I have the remotest idea how these chats were obtained. The only thing I can say about it is that on Thursday, December 29, after noon, I received a message on my cell phone from a journalist acquaintance who asked me if I had knowledge of the site in question,” Tailhade said in the presentation to which Télam agreed.
“I immediately told him that I knew nothing and of course I proceeded to enter the site and carefully read the conversations. At 1:30 p.m., in my usual column on Tuesdays and Thursdays on the radio program ‘Cuánto Cuento’, which is broadcast by AM 530, I publicly disseminated these news, and I specifically focused on one of the talks, that of D’Alessandro with Silvio Robles, general director of the office of the President of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, Dr. Horacio Rosatti “, detailed the deputy of the Front of all.
“The whistleblower probably directed his ridiculous accusation against me because I was the first person to talk about this leak in the media.. Until the time of my column, no journalist had spoken about it. However, I know several journalists who already knew that the site was active at noon on Wednesday the 28th,” he continued.
The national deputy then cited an article from the El Disenso portal, in which a chronology was published detailing when D’Alessandro’s alleged chats were uploaded to a website and how they later began to spread through social networks from the 28th from December.
“It is still doubtful that this is a hack, and not someone with access to his cell phone voluntarily leaking it.
“It is still doubtful that this is a hack, and not someone with access to his cell phone voluntarily leaking it. On November 5, the news broke that (Diego) Santilli and D’Alessandro denounced in court that their cell phones had been hacked. D’Alessandro’s last with (Silvio) Robles is from December 1. That is to say, we have to believe that he denounced the hacking of his cell phone, and did not generate any mechanism to protect himself,” Tailhade said.
“D’Alessandro did not do what anyone would do after reporting the hacking of his cell phone: change the device, change the passwords, or at least uninstall Telegram and reinstall it. And this can be verified by anyone who has D’Alessandro among their contacts: on December 5, the message ‘Marcelo D’Alessandro joined Telegram’ appeared, the message that the App sends when a contact reinstalls it,” he added.
The deputy’s argument
In the letter to which this agency had access, he requested that “the extraction of testimonies and the referral for its drawing and the subsequent investigation” of 26 facts that detailthe.
There they appear “Illegal intelligence actions” referring to probable infiltrations of agents “in 2018” in mobilizations of social movements; and the “direction of a tender” for the destruction of vests.
Also, the legislator refers to the “sentence settlement of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation” by virtue of the fact that “on 11-9-2022 Robles, general director of the council of Horacio Rosatti, president of the Supreme Court, and a frequent contact on D’Alessandro’s Telegram sent the official a link to a news item from the agency Argentine News, titled ‘Judge Rosatti will continue to lead CABA’s claim against Nation for co-participation’, and says: “I hope you get the ‘Robles ruling’ out. D’Alessandro replies: ‘Obviously'”.
At this point, he remarks that “they were talking about a file that is in the Court in which the parties are the National State and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, in which the co-participation that CABA should receive is discussed.”
Tailhade also asked to investigate “the settlement of another Court ruling and a judicial strategy” in reference to the fact that on November 15 “Robles passes D’Alessandro ´letter so that you can move it´”.
And in his writing, The deputy points out that “it is enough to review the news on the subject of the Council of the Magistracy to verify that JxC followed the indications of Robles / Rosatti to the letter” against which the FDT deputy requests “that for these events the lottery office of the Federal Chamber be intervened.”
In another section of the presentation, Tailhade refers to the “efforts to avoid probation” by “Marcelo Violante, businessman who owns several firms, including Dakota,” who was in charge of the haulage service of the City of Buenos Aires.
Violante asks D’Alessandro “that the prosecutor not apply probation to the president of his company Brewda Construcciones SA, Rubén Hugo Laghezza, for violating a closure.”
At another point, the deputy cites the “business proposal” for Rodríguez Larreta: “on 9-12-2019 D’Alessandro asks him ‘Can you come in today?’ Violante asks: ´He gives you to propose business to Horacio (presumably Rodríguez Larreta)?. D’Alessandro responds in the affirmative”, remarks Tailhade, who considers that based on this dialogue, the crime of “incompatible negotiations, bribery and some more” could be investigated.
After making his presentation in Comodoro Py, Tailhade expressed in radio statements that In his opinion, the evidence measures requested based on D’Alessandro’s complaint “will reach a result” because “it will be possible to know, at least, who registered the domain of that website (who spread the leaks)”.
“I appeared (in the federal courts of Retiro) and fundamentally denied any type of responsibility in this matter. I do not have the remotest idea of how the hack was generated, of how that website was built, I do not have any information about it ” , he remarked this noon interviewed by Radio Nacional.
In parallel, he maintained that he was “absolutely sure” that the leak of Telegram messages “has to do with the PRO” as it is “an internal war between them” in which “the second lines of Horacio Rodríguez Larreta and Patricia Bullrich are the protagonists” of a “skirmish” that has the two pre-candidates with presidential aspirations behind them.
In addition, he reiterated that in the case initiated by D’Alessandro’s complaint, judge Rafecas and prosecutor Taiano were drawn by lot, but when they were both on vacation they were temporarily replaced by Capuchetti and prosecutor Stornelli, who “hurried to make the accusation, request test measures, so that the week would not end without doing so and this would explode in the newspapers on Saturday and Sunday,” he said.
For the deputy, around the accusation against him “there is a lot of dirt” from the intervention of certain federal Justice figures who are close to the PRO but in any case he assured “he has no fear of anything.”
