The license plate for the year 2023 can already be paid as of this Monday, January 9, both through the page of the Single Vehicle Revenue Collection System (Sucive) and in the different collection networks enabled. The Congress of Mayors reported the schedule of payments of the patent and the due dates of each installment for this year. The first installment will expire on Friday, January 20, followed by the second on Monday, March 20, the third on Tuesday, May 23, the fourth on Thursday, July 20, the fifth on Wednesday, September 20, and the sixth and last on Monday November 20.
Users who pay the patent in a single payment before the first due date will receive a bonus of 20% of the total value, while those who pay the other installments within the established term will obtain a benefit of 10%. However, both benefits are not cumulative according to the Ordered Text of the Sucive.
In November, the Congress of Mayors determined the values for the aliquots and fixed values for the 2023 vehicle tax regime. In tax category A (cars, vans, ambulances, self-propelled motor homes, hearses, vans, buses and buses) , 0 kilometer vehicles will have a rate of 5% of the market value less VAT, while in the case of used vehicles it will be 4.5%.
For category B vehicles (trucks) in the year 2023, the rates will be 1.3% of the market value less VAT for 0 km and 1.3% for used vehicles. Category C vehicles (motorcycles and similar) will be taxed the same as in 2022 adjusted by the Consumer Price Index (CPI). Finally, for electric vehicles in 2023 the rate will be 2.25% of the market value.
