The Western Panama Regional Health Directorate reported that currently, together with the Government Innovation Authority (AIG) and the security forces that make up the Joint Task Force, they carry out verification operations on all those attending the La Chorrera International Fair to detect possible positive patients for COVID-19 who try to enter this fair event.
The Ministry of Health (Minsa) warned that those who are detected positive trying to enter the fair will be sanctioned in accordance with the amounts established for this type of situation and taken to their homes to complete their isolation period as established in the current protocol. .
The verification staff is stationed at the entrance of the fair and so far only one positive person has been caught trying to enter the venue, who was removed from the area and sanctioned in accordance with the established norm.
Through the personal identity card, it is verified on the AIG platform if the people are among the positive active cases reported by the Minsa.
