In Ciudad del Plata, the Fire Department extinguished two sources of fire, one located at km 22 of Route 1, near the Marina Santa Lucía private neighborhood, and another in the Santa Mónica neighborhood.
These fires resulted in two homes with total losses and a woman with first and second degree burns on one of her arms.
On the other hand, in the city of Libertad, another fire consumed a farm located on the continuation of Luis Morquio street, where 15 people resided. The residents themselves had to extinguish the fire since the car bomb corresponding to that city was facing the sources of Ciudad del Plata. There were no injuries.
Finally, in the Kiyú spa, a fire broke out in a large area of mountains near the campsite. It was learned that it originated when a group of visitors lit a fire at ground level. Firefighters were working at the site for more than an hour with the collaboration of neighbors and campers.
