This Saturday They shot an Irish tourist who arrived in Montevideo on a cruise and that He went for a bike ride to the Fortaleza del Cerro.
As reported by Telemundo, the man shot when they tried to rob him: two men intercepted him and as He resisted they shot him in the legs.
Telemundo adds that the tourist is out of dangerhe was transferred first to the Cerro Coordination Center and then to a private health center.
According to information from the Interior, the event occurred around half past one in the afternoon. It was the soldiers stationed in the Fortaleza del Cerro who alerted the Police and assisted him.
According to the police part to which he agreed The Observerthe Irish national was diagnosed with a gunshot wound to both legs, but “it is not serious”.
