The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro announced this Friday, January 6, changes in his Executive Cabinet, among which the appointment of Yván Gil Pinto as the new Foreign Minister of the Republic stands out.
The information was released in his account on the social network Twitter @NicolasMaduro, in which the head of state stated “I have appointed Yván Gil Pinto, the new foreign minister of Venezuela, a responsibility that I am sure he will carry out with great professionalism. I thank Carlos Faría for his outstanding work, in the next few days new tasks will come for him ”.
Likewise, he informed that PDVSA will be chaired by the engineer Pedro Rafael Tellechea and the C/A Aníbal Coronado will be the new Head of Government of the Insular Territory “Francisco de Miranda”.
The new People’s Power Minister for Foreign Relations, Yván Gil Pinto, served as Chargé d’Affaires of Venezuela before the European Union. He also served as Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs for Europe. He was president of the Corporación de Desarrollo Agrícola SA, and Minister of Agriculture and Land, appointed in April 2013.
In the same way, he was appointed president of the Presidential Agrifood Commission and plenipotentiary head of the Economic Area of Los Llanos. He also chaired Agropatria, a state distributor of agricultural inputs. He was in charge of the Agricultural Supplies and Services Marketing Company (Ecisa), of the National Institute of Agricultural Research (Inia) and vice minister of Agro-productive and Agri-food Circuits.
For his part, engineer Pedro Rafael Tellechea, the new president of Petróleo de Venezuela (PDVSA) comes from leading Petroquímica de Venezuela SA (Pequiven) and the national company CVG Industria Venezolana de Aluminio, CA (CVG Venalum). In addition, he served as General Manager of the mixed company Methanol de Oriente, Metor SA
Meanwhile, Rear Admiral Aníbal Coronado, the new head of Government of the Insular Territory “Francisco de Miranda”, was in charge of the coordination of Authorization (E) of the Office of Administrative Management, of the Ministry of People’s Power of the Office of the Presidency and Follow-up of Government Management.
Coronado was also in charge of the Vice Ministry of Monitoring and Inspection of Government Management, as Manager, of the Ministry of Popular Power of the Office of the Presidency and Monitoring of Government Management.
