Police reinforce surveillance in Chiriquí, against the arrival of visitors to tourist sites

Given the increase in tourist and national and foreign visitors in tourist areas of the province of Chiriquí, the National Police reported on the morning of this Saturday, January 7, that the National Directorate of the Environmental, Rural and Tourist Police maintain surveillance tours and patrols in various points of the district of Tierras Altas and other sites of greater concentration.

According to Corporal 2. Luis Espinoza of the Tourism Police in Boquete, the units are stationed in various places that are visited by travelers.

“The units of the Tourism Police are trained in different languages ​​for better attention and to show visitors the wonders of our country,” said Espinoza, who stated that tourists will be oriented and guided by uniformed officers on their journey.

It should be noted that in this province, the organizers of the Flower and Coffee FairThey expect the presence of at least 150,000 visitors in the coming days.
