With the end-of-year activities, the health authorities fear that there may be a slight increase in Covid 19 cases, so they ask people who feel symptoms to go for the swab test at the authorized points nationwide.
According to Esmeralda Martínez, the national coordinator for taking swabs, the official points are all the Health Centers nationwide, noting that in the capital there is the Emilio Rollo fast car that opens from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 pm, the Rod Carew stadium and the Tocumen Megamall shopping center that open from 6:00 in the morning and end at 2:00 pm
He also indicated that the population must continue to comply with biosecurity measures, use masks on public transport where it is mandatory, and optionally where there is a crowd of people, maintain a prudent distance from others.
“We ask the population to take care of themselves, because the increase in cases will depend on what we do on behalf of each one, if we take care of ourselves we can prevent the cases from continuing to rise,” Martínez concluded.
