A total of 18 congressmen from popular action, Free Peru Y Magisterial Blockwere included by the prosecution in the investigation into the alleged organization that would have led Pedro Castillo during his term in the Children’s Case. In addition, Pedro Edwin Martínez Talavera, Luis Ángel Aragón Carreño, Hilda Marleny Portero López, Carlos Zeballos Madariana and Carlos Enrique Alva Rojas for the alleged crimes of criminal organization in the modality of aggravated influence peddling.
In the same way, Congressman Américo Gonza Castillo was incorporated, who is also being investigated for irregular promotions in the PNP generals. In this case, the Perulibrista parliamentarian was accused of being one of the coordinators for the promotion of senior police officers.
For his part, from the bench of Magisterial Block parliamentarians Germán Adolfo Tacuri Valdivia stand out; Passion Neomias Dávila Atanacio; Francis Jhasmina Paredes Castro; Óscar Zea Choquechambi (now not grouped); Katy Ugarte Mamani; Paul Silvio Gutierrez Ticona; Segundo Quiroz Barboza and Edgar Tello Montes, for the alleged crimes of criminal organization and against the public administration-aggravated influence peddling.
All the aforementioned congressmen will be included in the investigation that the Prosecutor’s Office initiated against some Popular Action legislators such as Elvis Vergara, Darwin Espinoza, Raúl Doroteo, Ilich López, Juan Mori and Jorge Flores Ancachi.
