The new dean of the Illustrious Tacna Bar Association, Edilberto Cabrera Ydme, before being sworn in on Wednesday, revealed that in his last days in office, former dean Jaime Montalico Ccalla waived all the fines imposed on the members of the professional order.

He questioned this situation since an erroneous message was left to the professionals of being able to believe that it is no longer important to fulfill their obligations since the fines can be forgiven.
The last vote was included
He said that this is to the detriment of those who had complied with catching up on their quota payments to participate in the last electoral process held on December 26.
And it is that he said that even the fines generated for not voting in the last elections were forgiven by Montalico before leaving office.
It was a campaign promise
Asked about this situation, the former dean Jaime Montalico confirmed that it was true that he had waived the fines since this was one of his campaign promises when he was elected.

He specified that the fines for not paying until 2022 are being annulled, as well as the fines for not participating in the evaluation of magistrates and not attending ordinary and extraordinary assemblies.
He justified himself by saying that his colleagues miss their obligations not because they want to but because they can’t or because they work far away. “The colleagues who want to participate come and participate, the colleagues who can’t participate are precisely the ones who are being fined,” she stressed.
