Minister of Economy asks mayors to prepare more precise files for their approval

The head of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Alex Contreras Miranda, met with the mayor of the province of Tarma, Walter Jiménez Jiménez and the district mayors of Acobamba, Palca, Palcamayo, La Unión Leticia, San Pedro de Cajas, Huaricolca, Huasahuasi ; in the town hall of the municipality of Tarma.

During his speech, Contreras Miranda highlighted the importance of articulating concrete actions with the aim of seeking development for the province of Tarma. In this sense, he urged the mayors to prepare more precise profiles and technical files for approval.

The head of the MEF also visited his former school, the emblematic and sesquicentennial San Ramón de Tarma, where the minister and mayor studied. There is still a budget for the new construction of the new campus that is pending and that assured that it will come true anyway.

The head of the MEF stated that the “Con Punche Peru” plan includes 19 measures with a high social and productive component, focused on economic reactivation at the national and regional level. They are mostly measures of rapid implementation, therefore, of rapid impact, in order to achieve the recovery of the sectors affected by issues of the international and local situation, such as tourism, commerce, agriculture, among others.
