OSE opened a call for 75 jobs in Montevideo and in the interior

The call was opened on December 30 and will continue until Friday, January 16 inclusive. The salary of the position exceeds the $40 thousand.

Ten positions are offered in the capital: eight in Technical Operations management and two in Drinking Water management. In each of the other regions (North Coast, South Coast, Northeast, Southeast and Center) the positions are 13.

Six of the positions will be allocated to people of African descent and one for trans people, informs OSE in his call.

The person with the position offered is “responsible for assisting in operation and maintenance activities of drinking water supply systems, treatment of residual liquids and maintenance of water and drainage connections, equipment, facilities and premises“.

The position requires availability to carry out rotating shifts.

The workload is 40 hours per week. Those who work in Waste Liquid Treatment Plants They will have a special schedule regime of 6 hours. In these, night work for minors under 21 years of age is prohibited.

The nominal monthly remuneration of the position is $40,506.97.

• Be a Uruguayan citizen or have at least three years of legal Uruguayan citizenship.
• Be between 18 and 50 years of age at the close of the registration period.
• Not hold any paid public office, with the exception of teaching positions, at the time of signing the contract.
• Complete primary.
• For the quota for trans people: have carried out or started the process of adjusting the name or gender in identification documents, or have applied for the Uruguay Social Trans Card.

The selection of applicants will have two stages: the evaluation of merits and background and an interview with a court.
