The aforementioned congressmen requested that the PNP inspectorate investigate those involved “for the alleged commission of the infraction (…) of the MG43 code, (organizing, directing, promoting, participating in or inciting a strike, stoppage, march or other actions protest of a police nature, or intervene directly in political or union activities) of the Law 30714, Disciplinary Regime of the National Police of Peru”. If the investigations begin, immediate retirement is contemplated as a penalty.
