Confidential information led the anti-drug police from Huancayo to the town of Marcavalle in the district of Pucará. In that place, a car was intervened where they found more than 19 kilos of cocaine hydrochloride, but, to the surprise of the officers, there were two policemen in the vehicle.

The driver and officers were arrested. Shortly after in Huancavelica, another non-commissioned officer implicated in the alleged crime of illicit drug trafficking was captured.
Despite the reservations about the case, it was learned that two police officers were arrested in Pucará, on Thursday afternoon and yesterday, Friday, they apprehended another agent in Huancavelica. According to preliminary investigation, in that operation the driver of the car that would be the transporter and the police officers who would presumably be the ones who would escort the cargo were captured, although it is not ruled out that they could have seized the illicit substance.

The proceedings continue to determine responsibilities, however, the police command ordered the interrogation of all those involved. Yesterday, after 7:00 p.m., the third agent arrested in Quichuas – Huancavelica was taken to the Huancayo anti-drug unit in Millotingo – El Tambo, under strict security measures.
Relatives of the detainees tried to avoid the work of the journalists, preventing them from capturing images of the transfer. The identity of the four intervened has not been revealed until ruling out their participation in illicit drug trafficking.
