The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (Inameh) forecast for this Sunday little cloudiness and a low probability of precipitation in a large part of the national territory.
This is highlighted by a press release from the Institute’s web portal, highlighting, in turn, that the transport of humidity towards the coasts is maintained, due to the more intense Northeast Trade Winds; causing cloudiness with scattered rains or drizzles, on the coasts of Falcón, Miranda, Anzoátegui, Sucre, the Insular region and Delta Amacuro.
Likewise, he pointed out that it is slightly activated towards the south of the country; cloudiness of vertical development with rains or showers and probable electrical discharges, over areas to the south of Zulia, Táchira, Mérida; as well as to the south of Amazonas, Bolívar and our Essequibo; with probable rainfall accumulated between 3-35 l/m².
In Greater Caracas, cloudy areas are observed at dawn and in the early hours of the morning, with scattered rains or drizzles, especially in mountains and coasts; the rest of the period with little cloudiness and low probability of precipitation.
Additionally, the report highlighted that within the Extreme Temperatures that there will be this Sunday in the national territory, are the Maximum: 36 °C in Llanos Centrales and Barinas, while the Minimum: 6 °C in mountainous areas of Mérida.
Regarding the state of the sea, to this day on our coasts there is a strong swell with waves of up to 2.0 m in the Gulf of Venezuela, the Insular region, the Western Coast and the Orinoco delta; and up to 1.5 m on the Central and Eastern coasts.
