The president of Comce Querétaro chapter, Óscar Peralta Casares, explained that this strategy will be implemented in 2023, to materialize both purposes:
- Identify the state’s exportable supply
- Reduce dependency on imports.
By identifying the capacities of local companies with export potential, it will be possible to bring this offer closer to the demand of companies that usually import these inputs, in addition to encouraging their participation in the foreign market.
There are 350 Queretaro companies that are expected to be included in the initiative, to strengthen their capacities. For now, the companies that have the potential to be part of the project have been identified, however, their selection has not yet been defined.
In this process, the initiative also contemplates issuing certifications to companies, as well as training them and even conducting audits to increase their competitiveness.
