Corpoelec distributed and installed 125,000 LED luminaires in 2022

The Comprehensive Lighting Plan for Vías Expresas, developed by the National Electric Corporation (Corpoelec), installed a total of 125,987 LED technology luminaires of different powers, distributed during this 2022.

The information was released by the General Manager of Distribution, Maikel Condalez, “this year we have installed more than 125,000 luminaires on the main roads of the country, among which stand out: the Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho highway, Central Regional, Caracas-La Guaira and the Great Cacique Guaicaipuro».

Plans for 2023

Regarding the objectives in terms of lighting for the next year 2023, he asserted that it is planned to continue reinforcing the Comprehensive Lighting Plan for express roads, in the states of Zulia, Lara, Portuguesa, Caracas and Miranda.

He also indicated that it is expected to continue strengthening the maintenance of the national electrical network, with the plans for the replacement of transformers and the delivery of luminaires in the national territory.
