"The FANB has been the backbone of peace and stability"

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted the role played by the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) during these years of attacks against the country.

“This was a year of great effort where the FANB once again ratified its role as the backbone of peace, stability and union for Venezuela,” he pointed out during the year-end greeting ceremony for the FANB from the headquarters of the Strategic Operational Command ( CEO), located in Fuerte Tiuna, Caracas.

The national President highlighted the deployment actions that the military components have developed in order to guarantee territorial integrity and combat mafias linked to Colombian drug trafficking.

Likewise, he praised the active participation of the FANB in the Community-Military Brigades for Education and Health (Bricomiles) that have allowed the rehabilitation of educational and assistance centers.

“We must learn to do more with what we have,” he urged while recalling the work carried out by the FANB to guarantee care for those affected by the rains in the country.

«You must not lower your guard, you must keep your guard up. There must be perfect coordination with the Peace Quadrants and Popular Power to guarantee peace, stability, and the integrity of the country, to heal the social wounds of the sanctions and consolidate the recovery of this year 2022,” he exhorted.
