A car accident occurred on the morning of this Wednesday in the municipality of Los Arabos, in killingshas so far left a balance of five people dead and 39 injured, including several minors.
Without providing further details about what happened, the Provincial Government reported through its Facebook profile that four people lost their lives at the scene of the tragic event and one died while being transferred to a hospital. It also transpired that the deaths so far correspond to four women and one man.
according to a note of the Girón Provincial newspaper, the event occurred in the vicinity of the population settlement of Crucero Hondo, about two kilometers from the municipal seat of Los Arabos.
The injured have been transferred to the Mario Muñoz Monroy Hospital, in the neighboring municipality of Colón, where they are being treated in the emergency Intensive Care Unit. The journalist from TV Yumurí, Iris Quintero, from her Facebook account, has assured that six minors are among the injured.
