They also stated that “2022 thus ends with the resolution of a new case that renews hopes for this path of truth, memory, justice and identity” and they pointed out that: “We hope that 2023 will welcome us with many more meetings.”

Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo had announced last Thursday the restitution of the identity of grandson 131 and on that occasion, the head of the organization, Estela de Carlotto, maintained that the fact “gives us hope of finding those who are missing.”
There, he maintained that grandson number 131 is the son of the PTR-ERP militants from Mendoza, Lucía Nadin and Aldo Quevedo, who were kidnapped in 1977 and taken to the “Club Atlético” Clandestine Detention Center in the city of Buenos Aires.
In a press conference, Carlotto specified that Nadin was two or three months pregnant when she was kidnapped in 1977 and that there are suspicions that the birth could have occurred at the Navy Mechanical School (ESMA).
He also commented on that occasion that Nadin and Quevedo were from Mendoza, that they met at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Cuyo, and that they were members of the PTR-ERP.
