The host and actress Carla Conte, who is in charge of the entertainment series “Recreo, El Programa” together with Diego Korol on the screen of América TV, every Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., pointed out that the delivery seeks that people “can think about something else in this complex world that we are living in”.

“I hope that the program is a recreation not only for the people who are going to play with us in Mar del Plata, but also for those who watch it from home, that it be a dispersion”, expressed Conte in a chat with Télam.

the cycle, which It is broadcast live from the terrace of the Provincial Hotel in Mar del Plata and which also has the participation of Nazareno Mottola and Emily Lucius, has different guest figures and musical shows in each installment.

In addition, there are games such as “The human claw”, “5 in a row”, “Palo ya a bag” and “El Emilycornio”, which take place in the different inns and beaches, and in which all the participants get gifts .

“We are the only program that is coming out live from Mar del Plata, with a natural setting that is spectacular and that takes you on a journey”, added the also dancer, who plans to conduct a cycle again this year with Coco Sily on the Public TV screen.

Interview with the actress

Télam: How do you see people’s participation in the games proposed by the program in the context of the pandemic?

Carla Conte: People who are afraid do not approach. I dare to think that the most fearful do not come to Mar del Plata either, which is bursting with tourists. On the other hand, the games are designed so that people do not crowd together, all protocols are taken into account, they are all wearing a mask. It is not a closed television studio, we are outdoors all the time.

T: What is it like being a duo with Diego Korol?

DC: We had never worked together, we met little. We have a very similar energy and we are used to working live with what is happening. That’s what I like the most, working with the adrenaline of the live. I have fun and I share it, that’s my imprint.

T: Do you want to act again?

DC: Yes, they make me want to. It’s not something you go looking for. I’ve done things that are great but I don’t have the daily exercise, I haven’t acted for a long time. I miss doing theater, it’s exciting, it’s one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever experienced, it doesn’t compare to anything I’ve done and I’d love to come back. My career, since I became known, was on television and as a host, it is my strength and my priority. Faced with a TV proposal and a theater proposal, surely today I will choose television because it gives me economic security and I can accommodate myself in another way. Since I had children, the option of doing theater is complex to put together, I am a mother who needs to be present. I still think the time will come to return to the theater.

T: What is your view of the situation of women in the media today?

DC: At the time when I said what I thought or complained about certain situations or expressed what I didn’t like, I felt alone. Today I have the feeling that there are thousands of us, that if any of the mines that are on TV have a problem, there is a space where we can meet and we have someone to support us. As a result of what happened with the abortion law, groups of women of all kinds have been organized, journalists and actresses like those visible in the media, but it is full of organized women and that seems a lot to me. Now you don’t feel alone, there are many eyes attentive to who is suffering workplace violence or harassment, a very important network was put together and if this had not happened we would not have a (Juan) Darthés in Brazil isolated and who is in full trial; We would not be with an exposed (Fabián) Gianola, nor listening to complaints of harassment, and with a television that gives rise to victims.

T: Do you consider yourself a feminist?

DC: Yes, I consider myself a feminist, although I am not a student of feminism. My first National Meeting of Women was in 2012, I traveled accompanied by feminist friends, I already had my two and a half year old daughter and it was the first time I left her. I did not understand anything at that time. It is where I think my feminism was born, I did not give it a name at that time but I understand that it all started in that meeting, in which I received my first green scarf and marched with all those women. From then on I felt that there were two different people in me: on the one hand, the one who went to the marches with my friends and with a tribe of women who armed themselves and, at the same time, the Carla Conte who appeared on TV and those two women were not. When we started talking about abortion on television and I started driving with the green bandana on my wrist, I realized for the first time that all my parts came together on the screen.

T: What was the show where that turning point happened?

DC: In “Confrontados”, which was my return to driving after a long time and in a field that was not mine. Suddenly one day we cut off Rolando Hanglin’s cell phone because he disrespected me and another day I had a crossroads with Fernando Burlando and I began to feel that I could express myself. I went through many situations in which I was violated for saying what I thought, for talking about my bosses, they criticized me a lot and at one point everything turned around and I lived that opportunity to claim it on the air, in that program.
