The candidate for mayor of La Molina with the party People’s Renewal, Diego Uceda-Guerra Garcia, has an ongoing process since 1997 for not paying alimony to the son he had with the citizen -and plaintiff since then- Diana Arias Stella Diez.
The case, which has been unfinished for almost 25 years and whose period in the Power of attorney He is the same age as the politician’s son, he is being seen by the Third Magistrate’s Court of Barranco and Miraflores, directed by Judge Julio Almeyda Quintana.

On the other hand, as reported in 2011 by the newspaper Diario 16, when Uceda was spokesman for the National Solidarity party, led by Luis Castañeda Lossio, the current candidate for Popular Renewal had already been declared a delinquent debtor.
In the December resolution of Judge Almeyda Quintana, he ordered that the S / 48,500 be paid and that, otherwise, Uceda would be declared a delinquent food debtor. To date, the candidate for La Molina has not been included in said registry.
“I don’t understand why the judge hasn’t done anything until now, every week I make an appointment with him and they only tell me that he is looking at the issue. So far they haven’t registered [a Uceda en el registro de deudores] and I asked for that in November of last year”, adds Diana Arias.

Uceda Guerra-García has recently applied in 2021 with the Avanza País party, of Hernando de Soto, to be a congressman, without success, but before that, he had started his political career with Popular Action, and then in 1992 he supported Alberto Fujimori’s self-coup.
In 2002, he was a candidate for mayor of Metropolitan Lima with Vamos Vecino, a movement that supported Fujimori’s third re-election in government. This electoral alliance later changed its name to “Yes it meets.”
Uceda joined in 2004 at National Solidarity and, later, to the Contigo party, a group with which he applied for the Congress of the Republic in 2020, without success. According to official records, Uceda maintains his affiliation with People’s Renewal.
