More than 2,000 traffic and demarcation signs in 267 kilometers on trunks, highways and avenues throughout the national territory were the achievements obtained by the National Institute of Land Transportation (INTT), during the year 2022, through the policies applied with the National Signaling and Demarcation Planimplemented by the Great Mission Transportation Venezuela.
Through a balance published in a press release from the institute, it can be seen that among the largest works carried out by the transport entity, are the signaling on Trunk 9, with the placement of 810 informative, preventive and regulations, in addition to the installation of 206 signs on the Autopista Regional del Centro, as part of the modernization works of the Ocumitos Tunnel.
In this road artery, 60 kilometers were demarcated, from 0 to 30, in both directions.
In the interior of the country, 340 signs were repaired and installed, from the interchange on Santa Bárbara avenue in Valera, to the monument to Peace, in Trujillo state, to guarantee the road safety of the entity’s inhabitants and visitors.
Likewise, the second phase of the signage project carried out in Ciudad Caribia was completed, with 222 informative signs installed, within the framework of the Awareness and Values Campaign, which was developed in conjunction with the single authority for urban planning, CN. Jose Rafael Banuls.
in matters of demarcation and road maintenance, work was carried out on Boyacá avenue (Cota Mil), in the Simón Bolívar urban development, on Intercomunal El Valle avenue, on Roosevelt avenue, and in the Las Tejerías sector, in Aragua state. In addition, in inter-institutional alliances, the facilities of the Dr. Carlos Arvelo military hospital, the Venezuelan Institute of Scientific Research, the Vice Presidency of the Republic, the National Sports Institute, among others, were demarcated.
For next year, they will continue to develop signaling and demarcation policies throughout the national territory for the protection of Venezuelans on the main road arteries.
