The plenary session of the Supreme Court will meet during the day of this Monday to decide how it will proceed regarding the election of the National Prosecutor to replace the questioned management of Jorge Abbott.
In the midst of a process that has been strongly questioned and criticized, the spokeswoman for the Supreme Court, Ángela Vivanco, explained that the reason for the session is to determine if the quina will be completed or if it will be decided to act differently.
“We are going to have to meet for the purpose of determining the formula or the procedure again and there will be a call to the plenary session for the very act of completing the quina,” Vivanco said.
The foregoing occurs within the framework of the rejection of the candidacies of José Morales and Marta Herrera, letters chosen by President Boric that did not generate consensus in the Senate, which rejected both letters to head the Public Ministry.
