A total of 225 new infections of COVID-19 were detected in the last 24 hours, of which 116 are community and 109 importedwhich raises to 550,069 the accumulated confirmed, with 1,842 active caseswhile the number of recovered stands at 542 thousand 397 patientsthanks to the free treatments guaranteed by the Bolivarian Government.
This was announced this Saturday by the Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez during the customary daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19through his account on the social network Twitter, @delcyrodriguezv.
He informed that the community cases are located in: Aragua (33), Guárico (29), Caracas (20), Miranda (6), Carabobo (5), Zulia (4), Lara (3), among others that are shown in the next sheet.
Aragua presents the highest number of infections in 7 of its 18 municipalities: Girardot (18), Mario Briceño Iragorry (4), Libertador (4), Zamora (3), Bolívar (2), Camatagua (1) and José Félix Ribas ( 1).
Of the 109 imported cases, 47 come from Panama, 17 from Türkiye, 14 from Spain, 7 from Peru, 7 from the Dominican Republic, 6 from Colombia and 5 from Portugal, all entering through La Guaira.
In week 145 and day 1,014 of the pandemic in Venezuela, these are its general statistics:
– Total infections: 550 thousand 069
– Recovered patients: 542 thousand 397 (99%).
– Current active cases: 1,842.
– Total deaths: Five thousand 830.
