This morning the army evicted protesters who had taken over the Camisea plant in Kepashiato, La Convención, located in Cusco.

Through a link with Canal N, the spokesman for the Peruvian Hydrocarbons Society, Felipe Cantuarias, stated that no one was injured during the eviction of the protesters.
The Regional Health Management of the regional government of Cusco reported that two people were injured. Likewise, it specifies that the patients were treated at the Kepashiato Health Center, where they were discharged.
Let us remember that on December 13, the company Transportadora de Gas del Perú (TGP) reported that some 100 people, who belonged to the Kepashiato town center, Kumpirushiato district, entered the facilities of the Kámani compression plant after forcing the accesses, which that put the safety and integrity of the personnel at risk, for which reason it was requested to stop the operations of the plant.
Through a statement, the company indicated that, as a preventive measure, it activated its contingency plan, contacting the competent authorities to restore order in the area.
