Eduardo Estrella says in the Senate they will responsibly approach the Punta Catalina trust

The president of Senate of the Dominican Republic, Eduardo Estrella, assured this Friday in Santiago that the upper house will responsibly address the trust agreement proposed for the Punta Catalina thermoelectric plant.

He recalled that this proposal will be known after next February 27, when the new legislature.

“There the different projects that we are empowered will be approached responsibly”assured the senator for Santiago.

He reported that in the new legislature They will also learn about the territorial planning project, as well as others that they have in the pipeline.

Eduardo Estrella highlighted the importance of empowering the population regarding the important issues that are discussed in the National Congress.

“Citizen participation is very good”, Estrella expressed after participating in the act where the Dominican government delivered a first installment of more than RD$6 million of a total commitment of RD$30 million, for the construction of a children’s playground and a multipurpose room in the Botanical Garden of Santiago Professor Eugenio de Jesús Mark us.
