25-year sentence for a man for abusing a 5-year-old girl in Arequipa

A sentence of 25 years in prison was ordered by the Arequipa magistrates against Ronal Achahui, 30 years old, for the crime of rape against a girl only 5 years old.

The judges members of the Collegiate Prison of Cerro Colorado – Camaná, sub-specialized in Crimes Associated with Violence against Women and Members of the Family Group of the Superior Court of Justice of Arequipa, Ramiro Lorottupa Cáceres, Marcio Arteaga Espinoza and Patricia Posadas Larico ruled against the man, after supporting the Prosecutor’s Office.

The unfortunate fact it happened 10 years ago in 2012, when the man sentenced today took advantage of the absence of the girl’s parents to abuse the minor in a house in the district of Majes-Pedregal in the province of Caylloma.

Magistrates issued a ruling of 25 years in prison

According to information from the Superior Court of Justice, the event was identified by an NGO and many years after what happened, in the year 2018Therefore, the complaint was filed.

The judges considered consistent with the statements of the victim for which they issued the ruling of the sentence of 25 years in prison.
