The General Directorate of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health reported this Saturday 216 new cases from covid in the last 24 hours thus raising the number of active cases to 760 active cases of the disease in the country.
In total, 1,855 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours, of which 51 were PCR and another 1,804 of antigens. For this bulletin, no new deaths were reported, so the number of deaths from the disease remains at 4,384 deaths due to COVID.

While the daily positivity is 16.43% and that of the last four weeks is 14.88% with a lethality of 0.76%
Likewise, they said that hospital occupancy as a result of the disease was reduced to 1.9% while the use of ICU beds also presented a reduction to 1.4% and the use of ventilators remained at 0.4%.
For this bulletin, the largest number of new registered COVID cases occurred in the province of Puerto Plata.
