The Ministry of Mobility announced a new large auction with the aim of decongesting the patios of Bogotá, for which 527 vehicles that were declared abandoned will go on sale.
The day is due to compliance with the Law 1730, which allows the transit agency to dispose of vehicles “by means of any of the procedures authorized by the General Contracting Statute of the Public Administration, either by unit or by lots, prior appraisal of the unit price of each vehicle”.
In this regard, the Undersecretary of Citizen Services, Alejandra Moreno, announced that they are “more than 31,000 vehicles that have never been claimed by their owners, vehicles that have been in the yards for years generating a huge environmental impact for the city”, which is why a tenth auction will be held to decongest.
