Tite, already a former Brazil coach, was robbed last week in Barra da Tijuca (west of Rio) while walking along the beach with his wife. The thief, who was riding a bicycle, stole a gold chain from the technician. The former coach’s counsel confirmed the assault, but denied that the offender had taken the opportunity to reproach Tite for the performance of the ‘canarinha’ in the World Cup, as some media had published.

Police said Tite has not filed a complaint.
