Government maintains fuel prices

Fuel prices from December 17 to 23, 2022

The government kept the prices of all fuels frozen for the week of November 24 to 30.

The report of Industry and commerce ministry indicates that the Premium gasoline will be sold at RD$293.60 per gallonmaintains its price.

Meanwhile, Regular gasoline continues at RD$274.50 per gallon.

Regular Diesel maintains its price, and is sold at RD$221.60 per gallon,

While Optimum diesel will continue to be sold at RD$241.10 per gallon.

Meanwhile, the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) maintains its sale price of RD$147.60 per gallon.

Natural gas is sold at RD$28.97.

The Vice Minister of Internal Trade, Ramón Pérez Fermín, explained that the price freezing plan amounts to almost 35,000 million pesos to date. he said it is an unprecedented figure for such purposess and considered it “as an effort never seen before to ensure economic stability.”
