Due to intensification of the wind and increase in waves in the Panamanian Caribbean, the National Civil Protection System (SINAPROC) maintains a Surveillance and Prevention Notice for this Sunday, December 25, 2022.

According to the Direction of Hydrometereology of the Electric Company SA, (ETESA), an increase in wind is observed in the Caribbean for the next 72 hours, which will be increasing waves in the entire slope.

For its part, ETESA reported that, in the Pacific due to intensification of the wind, rough seas will also be generated, mainly offshore.

SINAPROC advises precautionary conditions for bathers and captains of the various vessels, on the Panamanian Caribbean and Pacific.

For emergencies: 520-4429/911/6998-4809.
