Regarding the agreement, Minister Javier García made a publication on his Twitter account. “Comrades from Espacio 40 and from Mejor País supporting the government and the president. Adding efforts and militancy is a path that is worthwhile and strengthens the National Party”. The same text was published on their respective networks by Sergio Botana, Diego Echeverria and the mayor of Cerro Largo, José Yurrumendi.
In a published photo appear Botana, Antía, the mayor of Cerro Largo, José Yurramendi and the deputy Diego Echeverría, for Best Country; and Senator Sebastián Da Silva, representative Rodrigo Goñi and of course Javier García, for his sector, among others.
The issue of candidacies, according to leaders of both sectors, will remain until 2024, while one of the objectives to be carried out is to strengthen the coalition both in Montevideo and in the interior of the country.
