▲ In eight days, 75,801 new cases of covid-19 were registered in Mexico City, a cause for which 408 people died in the same period, according to the capital government. The daily report on the evolution of the pandemic indicates that between January 19 and 26, 652 patients were admitted to hospitals in the city for the new coronavirus. As for the accumulated covid-19 infections, Mexico City reached one million 185 thousand 643 confirmed cases as of January 26. Meanwhile, more than 2 million 203 thousand residents of the capital already have the booster dose of the vaccine against covid-19, at the end of the immunization of the population aged 50 to 59 years.
