The Deputy Prime Minister of Namibia, Netumbo Nandi Ndaitwah, has been on an official visit to Venezuela since Sunday, December 18. The objective of her visit is to strengthen bilateral relations with Caracas and give impetus to the 11 signed cooperation agreements
President Nicolás Maduro received the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Nambia, Netumbo Nandi Ndaitwah, on Tuesday night, December 20, in order to boost the bilateral agenda between the two nations in areas such as culture, science and mining.
Maduro spoke with the senior Namibian diplomat at the Miraflores Palace and, although there were no statements from the meeting, the State channel assured that the meeting was part of a “broad agenda” that the Namibian official complies with to “deepen strategic relations and give impetus to the bilateral cooperation agenda.”

For his part, Maduro expressed on his social networks that he was pleased to receive the Namibian senior diplomat and said that his administration is willing to continue deepening relations in all the signed agreements.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Nambia, Netumbo Nandi Ndaitwah, has been in Venezuela since Sunday, December 18. She held meetings with the Minister of Agriculture and Land, Wilmar Castro Soteldo; with whom she exchanged experiences on agri-food security and analyzed the feasibility of some programs launched in Venezuela for agri-food security and that could serve the African nation.

the Minister of Foreign Relations, Carlos Faría, and the Vice President delcy rodriguezin order to deepen relations between the two countries and give a boost to the bilateral agenda between Caracas and Windhoek.
Likewise, they reviewed the cooperation agreements that cover the areas of energy, mining, science and culture, which have been fruitful for mutual development.
Venezuela and Namibia established diplomatic relations on May 22, 1990 and, since then, they have signed 11 cooperation agreements that cover the areas of energy, mining, science and culture.
