Santo Domingo.- A pregnant woman and a Haitian man were shot dead by criminals, on Monday night, near the Los Multis neighborhood, in Guaricansresidents of the place reported.
The victims were identified as Adee Katherine Paulino, 28, and Haitian Felipe Cadet, 35.
The woman was seven months pregnant and the child (a girl) was extracted alive by doctors from the Ney Arias Lora hospital.
A police source in the area reported that three individuals arrived at Cadet’s house after 10:00 p.m. with the intention of assaulting him, to which he resisted, for which the thugs fired several shots and one He caught up with Adee, who was passing by.

With these two victims, there are four citizens who have died in the last four days in events related to crime in Guaricanos, in Villa Mella, Santo Domingo Norte.
Last Saturday two young men were killed, one of them 20 years old, during a shootout at a Los Multis grocery store, according to the report.
One of those victims was a well-known local criminal, but the other man was a person of good living, residents of the sector reported.
The authorities launched an attack against crime, which has left some 30 criminals dead in the last two months, six of them in the Los Alcarrizos sector.
The Government seeks to counteract the power of the gangs that control many large neighborhoods, mainly Santiago, the National District and San Francisco de Macorís.
