Through RV No. 161-2022, the Ministry of Education (Minedu) approved the bases for the Single Admission Process (PUA) 2023 to High Performance Schools (COAR). In the registration process, parents, guardians or representatives can register through the web platform. One of the requirements is to have occupied one of the first 10 positions in the first year of secondary school or to have obtained, during the first or second grade of secondary school, one of the first three positions; also have a maximum of 15 years of age until March 31, 2023.

Process
In the first phase, the eligible applicants in the registration phase, according to the list published on the COAR website, will apply to a standardized test validated in the context of cultural diversity. This phase is face-to-face and eliminatory; the achievement of cognitive and socio-emotional skills or abilities is evaluated within the framework of the National Basic Education Curriculum.
And in the second phase, the applicants who obtained the best scores for each COAR participate. The exam is qualitative and evaluates the development of socio-emotional and motivational skills. It can be virtual or face-to-face.
Requirements
– Having occupied one of the top 10 positions in the first year of secondary school or having obtained, during the first or second grade of secondary school, one of the first three positions (or one of the places established in the bases of the calls) in any of the competitions convened or recognized by the Ministry of Education, whether at the local, regional, or national stage.
– Have completed the first two grades of secondary education in a public educational institution of Regular Basic Education.
– Have Peruvian nationality or, if a foreigner, have the documents required by the competent authority.
– Have a maximum of 15 years of age until March 31, 2023.
– Have the written authorization of the father or mother of the family or legal guardian or agent, to apply.
