Of that number, 1,646 are already in outpatient follow-up, according to the daily technical statement published by the federal Ministry of Health to follow up on the outbreak of meningitis in Durango.

“Medical care is being given in units of the State Ministry of Health, IMSS and ISSSTE. Beds are kept available for hospitalization on the floor and in intensive care in the medical units of the three institutions,” the agency details.
