Santo Domingo.- Two men were shot dead and another was wounded when they were shot this Saturday by a rival group of one of the deceased, in the Los Platanitos neighborhood of Los Guaricanos, in Santo Domingo Norte.
The dead people were identified as Aneudy Ramírez Pérez and Agedito Merán, who did not carry an identity card. While Carlos Manuel Encarnación de la Cruz was hospitalized for an injury to the buttocks.
The perpetrators of the act immediately fled the scene, and Fernando Joselyn (Papacito), Miguel Ángel (Tailon) and three other people in the process of identification are among the participants. The evidence collected rules out that the attackers used clothing similar to that of the institution of order, as has been published on social networks and some media outlets. The victims played dominoes in front of a grocery store on Primero de Mayo street, in the Los Platanitos neighborhood , from Los Guaricanos, Santo Domingo Norte, where the person who was injured works.
In relation to the case, DICRIM officials are investigating three people in search of clues that allow the perpetrators to be located and captured.
Police reports indicate that the group opposing Aneudy was pursuing him, of course, a stash of cash, the product of an assault. In addition, another of the reasons would have been the death last September of Manuel de Jesús Suero Romero (Moreno), a relative of one of the attackers.
The bodies were removed at 1:00 in the afternoon and sent to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF).
The Scientific Police collected 20 casings and a 9mm caliber projectile at the scene. More details of the case will be provided opportunely, as the investigative process progresses.
