The Superintendency of Banks reported on the issue in a press release.

The Superintendency of Banks (SB) presented its new institutional statistics section, which collects data on the services offered to citizens and the entities under its supervision.

In this space the general public can learn about the data related to attention to savers of entities intervened and/or in liquidation, prevention of money laundering and other financial crimes, sanctioning processes, protection of the financial user, registrations and authorizations, regulation of the financial sector , supervision of financial intermediation and foreign exchange entities, among others.

In addition to the data series organized chronologically, its methodology and publication policy are available. To access this new section, those interested should go to www.sb.gob.do, click on the Transparency tab, located in the upper menu, where they will find the Institutional Statistics section.

Each section has a data panel or dashboard that allows users to make graphs and use search filters according to their interests. This tool is especially useful for specialized professionals, journalists and the general public.
