They cancel more than $281,000 to soccer players who participated in the Qualifiers for the Qatar 2022 World Cup

This Friday, 281,500 dollars were disbursed to cancel in full the payment of prizes to the Senior Men’s Team for their participation during the Qualifiers for the Qatar 2022 World Cup. This was reported by the Panamanian Football Federation, noting that the payment It occurs after the agreement between FEPAFUT and the Association of Professional Soccer Players of Panama.

FEPAFUT highlighted that following in line with the transparency that has always characterized this Federation, a first prize of 414 thousand dollars was paid to the Senior Men’s Team for their classification to the Final Phase of the Octagonal, as agreed in the written contract with the Association of Professional Soccer Players of Panama and FEPAFUT.

In addition, another amount of 724 thousand dollars was given to the Senior Men’s National Team, for participation during the Final Phase of the Octagonal, as agreed in the written contract with the Association of Professional Soccer Players of Panama and FEPAFUT.

Finally, an amount that was not part of the agreement between FEPAFUT and AFUTPA was paid for 240 thousand dollars as a prize for their good effort in the qualifiers. For a total prize money for the Qualifiers for the World Cup in Qatar 2022 of 1 million 378 thousand dollars. We want to emphasize that these amounts paid are without taking into account per diems and prizes for friendly matches that were already canceled at the time.
