Thirty-seven students were the first to graduate from the green hydrogen diploma from the National University of Río Negro, a province that has unique natural conditions to produce this type of sustainable energy, the university reported Thursday.
“We need to understand the value and strategic position that our province has to generate this energy that will be relevant in the global energy transition process”specified the governor of Río Negro, Arabela Carreras, when delivering the diplomas.
Carreras highlighted that “we realized that in Argentina we are beginning to talk about Green Hydrogen, but in other parts of the world it is first on the international agenda.”
“When we were at the International Energy Agency, in Paris -he added- they told us that there are issues in which this province is two or three years ahead thanks to the human resources it is training, that they trust and think about the future”.
The specialty was generated with the objective of comprehensively addressing the problem of energy, development and particularly Green Hydrogen, “from a technical and strategic perspective”, clarified the official information.
As reported, the Central axes of the training were: new energy paradigm, its environmental, social and economic impact, production methods, storage, transportation, applications, safety and regulatory framework.
