More than 1,400 doses of influenza vaccine have been administered this year

A total of 1,480,710 doses of influenza vaccine have been applied nationwide through the Expanded Immunization Program (PAI) of the Ministry of Health (Minsa) indicated this Thursday that they have been applied

According to the most recent PAI report, a total of 1,125,962 doses have been applied at Minsa facilities, while 354,748 in the Social Security Fund.

The figures indicate that the Metropolitan Health Region continues to be the area where the highest number of doses have been placed with a total of 361,795, followed by the province of Chiriquí with 178,383.

While West Panama has placed a total of 120, 224; the Ngäbé Buglé region 116, 341; Coclé has applied 112, 134; while Veraguas 104, 900; the region of San Miguelito 89, 363; Colon 82,166, Bocas del Toro 76, 998; Herrera Region 52,565; Panama North, 52, 410 Panama East 52,335; Los Santos 35,629; Darien 25,306 and Guna Yala with 20,161.
