In Panama, 66 people have been infected with monkeypox

Three new cases of monkeypox were reported this Wednesday, December 14, by the Ministry of Health (Minsa). With these there are 66 accumulated cases throughout the country.

The authorities indicated that of the 66 reported cases of monkeypox there are 19 in home isolation, 7 in isolation in health facilities and 40 have completed their isolation.

To combat the disease, the Minsa detailed that they have applied 34 doses of the vaccine to date, 34 doses of the monkeypox vaccine have been applied; of them 26 doses in the Metropolitan Region, six in Panama West, one in Chiriquí and one in San Miguelito.
